Speech Therapy
Allied Health 2U provides expert, high-quality Speech Therapy (Speech Pathology) for children, adolescents, and adults. We support communication, language, speech, social interaction, and functional skills across everyday settings.
Our Speech Pathologists can deliver therapy in the environment that best supports progress such as the home, childcare, preschool, primary or high school, and other appropriate community settings. Telehealth appointments may also be available where suitable.
Speech Therapy That Fits Your Child and Family
Our Speech Pathologists begin with a detailed assessment to understand strengths, needs, and goals. From there, we develop a tailored therapy plan with practical strategies to support communication and learning over time.
We work closely with parents and carers, educators, support workers, and other professionals to keep therapy consistent across home and school. Where required, we can provide reports and recommendations to support funding and planning, including NDIS documentation.
Areas We Can Support:
Fluency (stuttering and cluttering): Support to improve speech flow, confidence, and communication participation.
Speech sounds (articulation/phonology): Help with clarity of speech and producing sounds correctly for age and development.
Voice and resonance: Support for voice quality, volume, pitch, and nasal/oral resonance concerns.
Receptive language: Building understanding of words, instructions, questions, and concepts.
Expressive language: Developing vocabulary, sentence structure, storytelling, and ability to share ideas clearly.
Social communication: Support with conversation skills, turn-taking, perspective-taking, and social cues.
Yes! Therapy can often be delivered at school, preschool, or childcare when it supports your child’s goals and the service setting is appropriate. We work collaboratively with families and educators so strategies can be reinforced day-to-day.
Some schools and centres may have specific procedures (e.g., consent forms, sign-in requirements, and documentation). Our team can help coordinate this process and communicate with the school as needed.
Speech Therapy is often most effective when delivered as part of a coordinated team. Depending on your child’s needs, we may collaborate with:
Occupational Therapists
Physiotherapists
Paediatricians / GPs
Psychologists and Behaviour Support Practitioners
Teachers and early childhood educators
Benefits of Speech Therapy in Home or School Settings
Delivering therapy in real-life environments helps children practise skills where they use them most, at home and in the classroom. This can improve carry-over, reduce barriers to access, and support consistent strategies across the child’s day.
Speech Therapy can support children with a range of needs, including language delays, speech sound difficulties, autism, developmental delays, and broader communication challenges.
