NDIS Psychology Services | Mobile and Online Support
Psychology services support people to better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, and to build practical strategies for everyday life. Whether you are navigating stress, anxiety, low mood, trauma, adjustment changes, or relationship and life challenges, psychology can provide structured, evidence-based support tailored to your goals.
At Allied Health 2U, we understand that accessing the right support should be simple and flexible. That is why we offer psychology in a way that fits around your schedule and circumstances without compromising the quality of care. Our psychologists provide the same therapeutic approaches used in traditional clinic settings, delivered in a format that is convenient, private, and client-centred.
For schools seeking student wellbeing support, view our School-Based Psychology Program designed for principals, wellbeing and learning support teams.
Meet some of the people behind our psychology support
Each week we feature a different member of our psychology team. The team is much larger than the few featured here, so tell us what you are looking for and we will match you with the right fit.

We provide psychology services in two flexible ways:
Mobile (in-person) sessions – delivered in your home or community setting, where appropriate
Online sessions – via video or telephone, allowing you to access support from wherever you are
A GP needs to determine your eligibility under the scheme. Simply book an extended consultation with your GP and ask for an Assessment under the Better Access to Mental Health Care scheme. This usually takes between 30mins – 45mins.
If you fall within the relevant criteria, your GP will prepare a Mental Health Care Plan and provide you with a referral. You can request a referral to our practice. You will then be entitled to claim a rebate from Medicare. Find out more about Psychologist services covered by medicare.
Once you have a referral to our practice from your GP, up to 10 sessions with a psychologist may be claimed in a calendar year. You will need to return to your GP for a review and extended referral after the 6th session.
Our Psychologists can provide expert reports and support letters following a psychology assessment.
You do not need a referral from your GP to see one of our associated psychologists. Most clients book an appointment with a psychologist through our central booking number and visit their GP in the intervening period. Others pay the full costs associated with their first session, and subsequently see their GP to take advantage of the rebate scheme for future sessions. A Mental Health care plan must be in place before you can claim for a given session.
Your GP will advise Medicare of your entitlement to claim a rebate for psychological services after they prepare your Mental Health care plan. You will then be able to claim a portion of your costs back from Medicare on presentation of a receipt from your psychologist.
Please note that you will still need to pay the full costs of your session at the time of your consultation, after which you will be able to claim from Medicare in the usual way – either by post or in person at your local Medicare office.
Many private health insurers cover psychology services as part of their ‘extras’ cover. Please contact your insurer to see whether you are covered and what rebate you might receive.
Unfortunately it is not possible to claim your private health insurance rebate to top up your Medicare rebate. Some clients therefore choose to make use of their private health insurance rebate, and when that runs out, they turn to Medicare.
When you have an appointment with one of our associated psychologists you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of approximately $85 (if you see a Registered Psychologist) per session.
We do not bulk bill. There is an out of pocket fee of around $110 per session.
Payment will be collected by the psychologists at the end of the session.
The recommended fee for psychologists per session is $251 however our fee is $195.
The full fee of $195 will be charged by the psychologist at the end of the session and the Medicare rebate will then be processed.
Our psychologists are also able to deliver services under the NDIS. Online psychology sessions can be accessed directly with the participant otherwise if logistically challenging other arrangements can be discussed such that an online psychology session can still continue. Complete an online booking form to see how you can get access to our online psychologists
