Where We Deliver Physiotherapy in North Ryde
We come to participants in the setting where their goals actually matter:
- In the family home across North Ryde and surrounding suburbs
- Group homes, including Supported Independent Living (SIL)
- Aged care facilities
- Workplaces
- Telehealth across NSW, by video or phone, where suitable
Physiotherapy Tailored to You
A physiotherapy session is built around the participant's goals and clinical needs, not a fixed routine. We start by understanding what is working towards and what is getting in the way, whether that is pain, a recent injury, reduced mobility, or a long-term condition. From there, the physiotherapist shapes a plan that fits the body, the daily life, and the environment.
Depending on the presentation, a session might include hands-on or manual therapy to ease pain and improve movement, an exercise program made specifically for the participant, retraining where it is indicated, and other evidence-based techniques. Just as importantly, we take the time to explain what is being done and why, so the participant can understand and own their recovery rather than simply follow instructions.
Because the work matters most where participants actually live and move, we come to them, whether that is at home, in aged care, in a group home, in a Supported Independent Living setting, or in the workplace. When attending in person is difficult, or when the participant wants to stay consistent between visits, telehealth across NSW sits as a quieter option, so progress doesn't reset the plan.
The plan is not set in stone. As the participant progresses, the physiotherapist reviews how things are tracking and adjusts the exercises and goals so progress keeps moving forward. Whether the participant is recovering from injury, managing a long-term condition, or working toward better mobility and independence, the aim stays the same: practical, person-centred care that helps the participant move more comfortably, take part in the things that matter, and reach goals that are meaningful to them.

Common questions
What does a physiotherapist do?
A physiotherapist works with movement, mobility, strength, pain, and physical function. Treatment can include hands-on therapy, individualised exercise prescription, dry needling where indicated, education for carers and families, and rehabilitation after injury or surgery, all aimed at helping you move more comfortably and take part in daily life.
Where does Allied Health 2U deliver physiotherapy?
We deliver physiotherapy face-to-face across Greater Sydney, including suburbs such as Parramatta, Liverpool, Campbelltown, Castle Hill, and Hornsby, and we come to you at home, in aged care, group homes, Supported Independent Living, or the workplace. Telehealth physiotherapy is available across the rest of NSW.
Can physiotherapy be delivered at home or via telehealth?
Yes. Many people do best when physiotherapy happens in their own environment, where the gains carry straight into daily life. Where attending in person is difficult, telehealth lets us provide guidance, exercise progression, and follow-up so you can stay consistent between sessions.
What conditions do your physiotherapists treat?
A wide range, including disability care for NDIS participants, falls prevention and rehabilitation, recovery after orthopaedic surgery such as knee and hip replacements, back and neck pain, sport and work injuries, osteoarthritis, and prehabilitation before surgery. We focus on practical, person-centred care, and coordinate with Occupational Therapy where mobility, equipment, or home modifications are part of the picture.
Is physiotherapy covered by the NDIS?
For eligible NDIS participants, physiotherapy is generally funded under Capacity Building, and we can provide clear recommendations and reports to support funding and service planning. Your Support Coordinator or Plan Manager can confirm what a particular plan covers.
