What is Exercise Physiology?
Exercise Physiology is a clinical, evidence-based discipline that uses tailored exercise programs to improve strength, mobility, fitness, and confidence. Accredited Exercise Physiologists work with individuals to manage chronic conditions, support recovery from injury, and improve overall function, delivered in a setting that suits the participant: at home, in the community, in a gym or pool, or via telehealth.

What is Exercise Physiology?

Our Exercise Physiologists can:
- Deliver individualised, goal-based exercise programs
- Improve strength, balance, mobility, endurance, and functional capacity
- Provide education for carers and support workers to implement safe, sustainable programs
- Support chronic condition management and injury rehabilitation with evidence-based strategies
- Provide reports and recommendations to support funding and service planning (including NDIS), where required
- Our Exercise Physiologists have the experience and knowledge to work with a broad range of needs and abilities. We focus on practical programs that build capacity over time and support meaningful participation in everyday activities.

- Chronic health conditions (e.g., diabetes, cardiovascular conditions), where appropriate

We work with you to set realistic goals and develop an exercise plan that supports everyday function—such as transfers, walking tolerance, community access, and participation in meaningful activities.
