Penelope is a registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia. She has completed a Bachelor of Science – Psychology at Macquarie University and has taken her studies further by completing a Graduate Diploma of Counselling and a Masters of Counselling and Psychotherapy, both at The Australian College of Applied Psychology. Penelope is also a trained Family Group Conference Facilitator through the Uniting Institute of Education.
Penelope has worked with a variety of clients including people on probation and parole, people with drug, alcohol and gambling addictions, anxiety and depression. Penelope has worked with many parents, children and teenagers who have gone through addiction, grief, trauma and loss. Over her career, Penelope has designed group programs which have targeted single issues such as mindfulness techniques, quitting smoking, healthy living and group bonding exercises.
Penelope is a passionate Counsellor and Psychotherapist who aims to assist in enriching the lives of those she meets by using her therapeutic skills and communicative ability.
